SITE DESCRIPTION: Elevated, flat building platform providing 360 degree view. As well as direct uninterrupted sea views, to the south the views are across the Bay to Westshore, Napier and beyond to Cape Kidnappers; to the east the Hawke Bay coast with adjacent hills and bush reserves in the foreground and to the north intermediate views of the Esk valley vineyards and up to the Kaweka Ranges.
