SITE DESCRIPTION: This is an elevated flat site with 360 degree views including to the east across native bush reserves to the coastline of Hawke Bay; to the south across the Esk Hill vineyards over the Bay to Napier and beyond to Cape Kidnappers; to the southwest over native bush through to the Heipipi Reserve (Department of Conservation) and to the north across Esk Hills towards the Esk Valley and the Kaweka Ranges beyond.
