SITE DESCRIPTION: A large flat building platform on one of the highest elevated sections within Esk Hills allowing for a 360 degree outlook. To the south there are views directly to and across Hawke Bay and the Aruriri Estuary; to the west views along Seafield Road Valley across grazed hills dotted with clusters of poplar, kanuka and pine trees. To the north east, immediate views are of the native bush reserves (owned and managed by the Residents Society) with longer views over to the Esk Valley vineyards and to the east views of the Hawke Bay coastline.
