SITE DESCRIPTION: Gently contoured area, with a large flat building platform. The site sits adjacent to mature native bush reserve with additional native planting to its edge.The site has a northerly aspect with views over the Esk Valley over vineyards and up the Valley towards the Kaweka Ranges. The views from the site take in some 300 degrees to include long distance views of the Aruriri Estuary to the south; Seafield Road Valley and its clusters of native and exotic trees set amid grazed hills to the west and views along the coast line of Hawke Bay towarsd Tangoio Bluff and beyond to the east.
